Casino Joy Review
Joy is meant to be a big part of what makes online gaming the fun form of entertainment it is, without experiencing joy as we play, there’d be little incentive to encourage to continue playing. Maybe in a bid to make sure no one is void of joy for too long, a new casino called Casino Joy has been launched, which promises to be a fun filled exploration of what the iGaming industry has to offer. Initial findings are good, with the site being presented in a beautifully purple and pink interface, mixed in with an easy to navigate layout, however for a true conclusion to be made, we need to delve that little bit deeper. We need to find out what makes Casino Joy tick, and whether it’s a must see new casino or one to pass on by this time.
Due to the newness of this brand, many reviews are still being typed up about the history of how this brand came into being, and so exact dates are tricky to come by. Although we can’t tell you an exact date of when the brand launched, we know that it was Oct/Nov 2018 that Casino Joy first started to hit players’ radars.
What is more, we can comfortably inform you that this is a multiple licensed website, under the watchful eyes of the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, with Genesis Global Limited being the owners of the brand. You may have heard of this company before, as they’ve created many sister sites to play alongside Casino Joy, such as Slotty Casino and Spinit Casino. Taking the licensing into account once again, it makes sense that such a substantial list of restricted countries have been presented to us; Denmark, Hungary, and Spain are just come of the territories that are unable to register at this time. As is quite common with such websites however, UK based players are able to join, as are many other European customers also, though it does always dependent on the gambling laws of any country.
The heart of the site, aka the games, is where Casino Joy comes into its own, as it delivers a diverse mix of slot machines, table based titles, and live dealer opportunities. We wouldn’t say the selection is the biggest we’ve seen, but at over 1,300 activities, Casino Joy has a lot of software for you to choose from. Moreover, the games you can select from come from all different walks of developers, including that of Play’n GO, Microgaming, and NextGen, arguably the big three contenders we always see within the iGaming community.
To ensure that finding your way round is easy, Casino Joy has designed their new interface into categories: Hot Games, Slots and Jackpots, Live Casino, and Casino Games. Inside of these categories there are then subcategories, there to further streamline what you’re looking for. However, while care has been taken so that customers can find these mobile friendly titles, the search games bar is then placed away from the categories, at the very top of the homepage, which we find a curious decision.
For your convenience, Casino Joy has put together a list of all available deposit and withdrawal methods, as well as their minimum requirements, and how long they take to be processed. In regards to each one of the deposit methods, no banking fee is brought against you, with users able to use Visa, Skrill, Neteller, etc instantaneously, in either GBP, SEK, or EUR.
As for withdrawals, there’s a lot less options available, with some of these methods not available for deposits, and so we’d suggest choosing wisely before proceeding. Moreover, all of the withdrawals take at least one to three business days to clear, and so there’s a much longer wait on your hands than with deposits. That being said, that time scale is a lot faster than most new casinos, and so Casino Joy appears to be ahead of the game in this instance.
If you need any help alongside the way, seek out the small question mark icon that’s in the top right hand corner of the website; although obscure, this little symbol will connect you with all support services. Not only can users search for questions as well as reading the FAQs, but they can also call, email, or live chat with the Casino Joy team. The only issue we can find here is that no operational hours are given, therefore leading us to wonder whether this is a 24/7 support system or a limited one. To be sure, we’d advised connecting the team, though ironically we can’t say during which hours.
Did we find Casino Joy joyful? In a manner of speaking, yes we did, however we wouldn’t say that this new website is any more enjoyable than other brands that have gone before it. The only real difference between this site and an older casino, to be completely honest, is that it looks more new and has a shiny, modern design; there’s simply no innovation to be found here. As a result, we’d give Casino Joy a three and half star rating, with the hopes that more will be added as the casino continues to grow over the next coming years.
