Hitting the jackpot is pretty much what we want to achieve if we’re fans of online gaming, and so Jackpot Fruity seems like the ideal place to do this. After all, it’s in the name. However, before we praise this casino, we intend to look past the minimal green design and delve into the dynamics that really make this brand tick. From first impressions, this website is one of the lesser polished brands currently about, with the newness of the label clearly impacting on how the website works as a whole. Still, we have to find out more whether this is the case once you sign up and become a member.
As already touched upon, this site is one of many new casinos, with it having been released in 2017. As such, it has that amateur finish to it that could potentially put new customers off. However, fortunately for everyone visiting this page, Cassava Enterprises are the ones who own and operate this brand, and they’re one of the leading names within this industry. Therefore, any initial concerns can be put to rest.
On top of that, you then have the fact that there’s a license from the Government of Gibraltar, as well as one from the UK Gambling Commission, thus ensuring continued safety and regulations. What is more, as clearly stated on the homepage, this site’s personal data is encrypted, to further protect all users who engage with the brand. Even though this is all good news, there’s some bad news mixed in, as there’s several countries currently restricted from playing at Jackpot Fruity. This covers players in the USA, Israel, Spain, France, Denmark, and a few others; the Terms and Conditions has the full list.
Visiting the promotions page of any casino can be a tense moment – will it have a range of choice, will it be limiting? But it was even more so due to how young the brand is. Sadly, that youthfulness and newness has worked against the bonuses available, as only four are listed, and they’re all for new users. Basically, you have a welcome bonus that has been split into four sections. This is great for newbies, but what about those returning, where’s their rewards for loyalty?
The deposit bonuses work out at a 100% match up, followed by 75% one, then another 75%, before going to a much lower 50%. Each of these then come with a selection of free spins, ranging from between 25 and 50 at a time. As good as this sounds, you then have a hefty 70x wagering requirement added on top, which is one of the biggest we’ve seen, meaning that withdrawing funds could be problematic.
Moving onto rewards for others, as already stated there’s no promotions currently active, so we have to look to the VIP club. There’s a page that details a bit about the membership, but please be aware that it’s invite only, and so it’s likely you have to be involved vigorously with the brand in order to be noticed. It’s not much, given the sparse nature of the rewards, but at least it’s something.
So far we’ve seen a very spotty delivery of the Jackpot Fruity features, but now we come to the part of the brand that has a lot to offer: the games. Using software by Dragonfish, WMS, and Eyecon, gamers can expect a fantastic array of graphics and aesthetics, all of which help give the titles individual flavour and character. What is more, they get a diverse selection of game types, with slots, tabletop games, and some Live Casino action.
Even though we’re happy to see that a Live Casino has been included here, it does have a lot less range than the titles elsewhere on the site, and so this is a niche part of the company at present. What is more, you won’t be able to test out these activities before becoming a member, due to the nature of their gameplay. Not that this matters so much, as none of the games have demo options for non-members, a factor we frown upon. It really limits how customers engage with the label, and in turn can turn people off to what’s on offer.
When it comes to the banking side of playing, the most important element for all real cash gamers, it would seem that you need to visit the FAQs page for the answers. True, it lists how to make withdrawals more than deposits, but in doing so it gives you a list of providers used. This includes wire transfer, ewallets, and credit cards, making it a compact but diverse selection of methods. The thing is, while they allow you to move your cash around, some of the completion times can take up to 15 days or more, which is hardly convenient when you’re eager to get your hands on the money you’ve made.
Furthermore, it would be more helpful to have both sides of allocation explained, ensuring that everyone understands both how to withdraw and deposit. This is something that could be added at any time, but it seems doubtful that Jackpot Fruity will do this, at this time. In terms of which currencies are enabled when using the services, nothing is mentioned on the website, so we can only assume it’s the traditional Euros and British Pound Sterling for the time being.
Moving onto the Help page now, there’s a distinct lack of options; there’s an email address provided, alongside a telephone number, with the latter only manned from 9am until 1am. Although the hours that customer service are on hand are decent, they’re not 24 hours a day, which is made worse by the fact that only two help options are given. We could include the FAQs section in this part of our review, but that in itself is severely lacking in information. A live chat option would be incredibly helpful in this area, as it would give instant results, and add yet another means of accessing help, something we feel Jackpot Fruity desperately needs.
In spite of a well known brand being behind this online, Jackpot Fruity feels incredibly flat. It’s dull in attractiveness, and offers little in the way of innovation, and while the games are impressive, it isn’t enough to win us over. This could be a casino from years ago, judging by how it looks, which isn’t something that should dog a brand new label. We feel that there are many other casinos that are better suited to the majority of players, though there is also some merit to be found inside the pages of Jackpot Fruity.
